Anyone ever have plastic surgery covered under BCBS Federal? I am just thinking ahead. I have a family so it will be hard to save a ton of money, so if my insurance company can help me out that would be great! But we all know how insurance companies can be a pain in the rear.

I have this insurance also. When I called last year to ask about coverage for my RNY, the woman said they covered my the RNY 100% as long as it was at an in network hospital, which it was and they did, but she said I would be on my own for any plastic/ reconstructive surgery. I know sometimes exceptions can be made sometimes. Please let me know if you get any more info on this.
