New here...

My name is Holly and I am 21y/o.  I am new to the board, but have been poking my head around the site and the boards alot lately. So, I just wanted to take a moment to say Hi.  I am in the process of scheduling my WLS right now. I am really nervous because I still haven't decided which surgery I want, but I am sure everything will be ok because I love my surgeon. He's the best! I'm not sure if every doctor does it the same, but I've already had my first consultation with my doctor and I've been on a protein shake diet for 3 weeks. [I lost 15 lbs woo-hoo!] I have also already had my psyciatric evaluation and I have a nutritional evaluation next week.  So we'll see what the future holds soon...

Hi Holly!  Welcome to the 20's board.  It is always a little slow on the weekends, so I'm sure more people will be by to welcome you tomorrow and Monday.  It's great that you're comfortable with your surgeon - that's really important.  Feel free to ask any questions you may have and I hope your pre-op process is smooth and easy for you.

Hey Holly! I was in the same boat as you just about 5 months ago.  This board is wicked awesome and alot of people had different surgeries and different stories to go with them so you will get a wide wrange of stories and experiences so just ask away with any question you have bc im sure someone on here can answer it! Welcome!

Welcome, I am new too and in the pre-op process also. I am glad you like your surgeon so much!! I really like mine too!
