Eatin' Good in the 20's Neighborhood - Thursday!
Howdy 20 somethings!
It was a decidedly academically productive day for me. I only had one 2-hour class, but I managed to get a solid start on my 25-page research paper with some quality time in the library with a stack of books as high as my hip. It is going to be a long semester. In the library to keep me company, was FOOOOOD
9am - 4 oz espresso, 6 oz steamed skim milk, 1 oz sf hazelnut davinci syrup
20 oz water
11:30am - 1 golden delicious apple, 1 oz almonds
20 oz water
3pm - the insides of a pepperoni calzone, about 1/4 of the crust
20 oz water
6:30pm - 2/3 loosely packed cup of lettuce/baby spinnach, 2 diced cherry tomatos, topped with 2 oz chicken thigh (cut into cubes) sauteed with a few strips of green pepper / onion, a sprinke of cheddar cheese, and a tablespoon of "garden fresh salsa" - Chicken fajita salad
Will have some more water later tonight and if I'm up late enough I have a 3 oz baggie of peanuts calling my name.
And I think I need to lay off the caffine for a few days. I have been having WICKED caffine withdrawl headaches every evening this week as I come down off my morning caffine high. So starting tomorrow, decaff only for me for a while.
So how is it going out there?

I came home early because my danged tube hurt so much even WITH lidocaine *shrug* So I didn't get in any gym time but there's always tomorrow.
B - Protein shake made with 1% milk and coffee+dulce de leche s/f syrups (30g)
S - 4 oz cottage cheese (12g)
L - innards from 4 pcs sushi (smoked salmon and cream cheese, no rice) (15g)
S - 2oz teriyaki pork (10g)
D - plan to have the rest of the sushi innards (15g)
Projected protein of 82g (wheee!) and 700 calories. Don't even ask about liquids. I have been sipping ALL DAY and the amount in the bottle doesn't MOVE. I'll be up another 3 hours or so, so I'll be sip sip sipping some more.
i read this post everyday but i never post, haha but i need to start, i need to up my protein today!!
B-none
L- 2oz tuna w/ light mayo
D-2oz chicken 1/4cup shredding rf cheese, 1tbsp salsa, 2tbsp light sour cream
s- prolly another oz or so of above
so far, 40oz water, gonna have some milk now, then some more water later. I'm on duty tonight for RA, so its gonna be a looong night

L-1/3 cup chicken salad on 1/4 piece of whole wheat pita w/ 10 bite size tortilla chips and 2 tsp white cheese queso
S-1/2 fiber one oats and caramel bar (these are my salvation...3 days in a row!!!
D-inside of a beef enchilada w/ 5 tortilla chips and salsa (didn't finish the enchilada)
S-2 dove chocolate promises...melted slowly
Will have my evening vitamins and fibersure before bed...Have a great evening!
