I'm Home!

Hey Everyone. Thanks for thinking of me yesterday during surgery and all the lovely comments and messages. I got home this afternoon and I've been in a little pain. The problem is that I can only have Tylenol and nothing any better. The only thing I can handle is morphine and I can't take that home with me.  So other than that, I'm doin all right. The surgeons and nurses said I was progressing well as I've been able to walk since about an hour after I woke from anethesia. I also walked several times after that and a few times this morning. I think I overdid it at walmart today when Mom and I went to get my prescriptions filled.  Now I'm just tryin to get my liquids in and relax.   Thanks again! 

WELCOME HOME, Jamie! Glad to hear your surgery went smoothly. Did they not give you any liquid vicodin or anything like that besides Tylenol?

I'm glad you're home safe!  I know Tylenol sucks doesn't it?  lol  Walk walk walk and sip sip sip!  It's easy to over-do it this early out, I know!  Trust me you'll feel like a whole new person in about a week.  Welcome to the loser's bench!

Ok I'm dying and the tylenol is not cutting it! I just called the docs office and the assistant I talked to was really surprised that the nurse only gave me tylenol. So she's gonna check and see if they'll send another prescription to my pharmacy. Hopefully they do, cause I can't handle this much longer. I was doing so good in the hospital too...

Congrats! I went to work (circuit city)  2 days after coming home from the hospital and walked around and it was great. The first few days are hard but Today is my 1 week post op and I feel like a million bucks. I cannot wait to get weighed. good luck on everything and welcome to the losers bench..feels weird saying that lol
