Hey guys, I've been having a hard time seeing the different in the mirror, so I took some advice and took some pic’s of me now so I could compare them to the before pic's i had.  I can see a difference but not like a huge difference! I feel like being 123 pounds down... it should have move of a WOW factor ya know? I weigh 193 right now... I think 193 should look smaller.  If you look at my pic's you'll see what I mean... it looks like I’ve lost like 60ish That really scares me cuz what am I going to look like when I’m at me goal! I think I just don’t hold the extra weight well, I look like a weigh much more then I do. So am I crazy or what (honestly- WTF?!? I cant win)

I'm sure others see a ton of difference.  You just see yourself every day. I have someone take an entire body shot of me in shorts and a t-shirt every 6 months.  I took them to a photo place last week and am having a collage made showing my progress.  I'm sure that'll really put it in perspective for me.

I took really detailed pic's left side, right side, front, back, up close face ect... One of my friends took a pic of her self every Saturday(wore the same close stood in the same place ect..)... and some how she made it into a slideshow/video thing... its crazy you could really see it.  I see the scale, and i do see a big difference in my closes. I just look at the pic's on here and think that’s not good enough ya know? I just think i dont hold my weight well.

I'd say, more than likely, you just don't see it that well because you see yourself eight million times every day.   Ask someone who sees your regularly, but infrequently.

Maybe your right.... people tell me I've lost a lot. I just wish there was a way i could see it. I really thought this was it, i'd be able to see it good with pic's. I dont know what else to do/try

Just keep exercising.  Your body will change and you will notice.

*shrug*  I looked at your pics and I think you look great AND I think you look 193.  I have that body dysmorphia thing going on too.  Brock's right, you're used to seeing yourself and you're scrutinizing every little thing too much.  We are our own worst critic. Have you placed your new pics next to your "heaviest weight" pics?  That would really show a difference.  123 lbs is a HUGE deal you should be congratulating yourself for your fantastic progress!!!

Well i'm glad someone can see 193, i just wish i could! 123 pounds is a lot of weight... and i am proud of myself (i never thought i'd be able to loose that much even after the bypass) but i just feel like i should be a HUGE difference ya know? like i'd see them and be like OMG!!! but i was like  oh great still fat lol I dont have pic's of my heaviest weight... The before pic's i was 295 (biggest was 315.5)
