Sorry it's not the best picture but it's good enough lol.  It hits right past my shoulders which is the shortest I've ever had it on purpose.  Next step, color!  Long hair has been my security blanket but it was getting so dry and icky that I just needed a change.  I so happy!

Thanks ladies!  I'm torn.  Part of me wants an eggplant/plum shade and the other part wants to see what caramel highlights would look like.  I've experimented with every red under the sun and only a few show in my hair.  I'm having the same trouble with purples - they just show  up red.  So I'm letting a pro handle it this time lol.  They can bleach it then color. As for the caramel, I think it would go well with spring/summer here in Florida.  I plan to get a bit tanner soon hehehe.  It's also a more "normal" choice and I'm going to be going to job interviews soon. In my heart I'd rather have some funky color or cool highlights BUT I know people judge on appearance *pout* so I should probably play it safe til I get a new job.  Trust me, I have plenty more color experiments to come in the future! EDIT:  Here's a lighter background.  See, my chins are still intact lol.  Proof that angles work magic

Cute!  And good for you!  I had the long hair security blanket too (kept it near the middle of my back or longer from 5th grade until about a year after my surgery!) and though it was weird at first to be rid of it, it is freeing.  Have fun with colors!  I look forward to seeing that too!

Good for you! It's super cute. :)  That is one of the first things I did after my surgery....cut my hair. It was a really hard decision because I too hid behind my hair, but I loved it after the initial shock wore off.
