Got any ideas how to make that happen?  For a project I'm working on I need a map of Canada that will be big enough to fill most of a poster board.  I've got a map image to use on my computer, I just can't figure out how to print it off - ya know, like pieces of it on separate sheets of standard size paper, and then put the pieces together on the poster board.  I've been trying to get this to happen using Microsoft Publisher, but I'm stumped.  Anyone have an idea? Updated - Never mind..got it...I'm a moron...but I got it

You have a couple options...

 1.  The easy way out...take the image on a disc to your local FedEx/Kinko's or other print shop and have them print it out, they can typically print up to archtectural (spelling sucks on that one) sized images (REALLY BIG)

 2.  A lil harder, but doable...If your printer supports it, you should be able to modify your print settings to print as a poster.  Open your printer settings, and look for an option that says "Pages per Sheet", and look in that drop down.  If your printer supports it, then you can select the Poster option that you want.  For example, my HP printer has "Poster 2X2 (4 sheets), 3X3 (9 sheets), 4X4 (16 sheets), 5X5 (25 sheets)".

If your printer doesnt support it, then let me know, and I can point you in a few other directions.

Thanks Thomas! I finally, after way too long, figured out that I can click on "Poster" in my Microsoft Publisher and modify it to the height/width I wanted.  I've been at my computer since noon...so I'm a little slow.  Thanks for the tips!  I need to print another gigantic famly tree in a couple of days so I'll keep this in mind.
