Eatin Good in the 20' Neighborhood - Tuesday!
Sorry I've been MIA! I've got about a million giant projects breathing down my neck and I've got to make serious progress on them by Friday. One that I'm working on is a genealogy for my Historical Geography class - a genealogy where I go back from my grandparents as far as possible. For one of my grandparent's I've traced their ancestors back to people born in the 600's (including several European monarchs! yeah, that's right, time to start bowing
lol). But that project has taken HOURS AND HOURS AND HOURS in front of a computer with no time for OH. But, I still eat
8am - 4 oz espresso, 6 oz skim milk, 1 oz hazelnut sf davinci syrup
20 oz water
11am - 2 beef sticks and a 1 oz skim cheese stick (can be eaten with one hand)
10 oz water
2pm - Mix of 1 oz peanut M&M's, 1 oz peanuts and 1 oz almonds (food I can eat while sitting at the computer without the possibility of staining historical documents I'm working with)
8 oz hazelnut coffee w/ 2 oz skim milk
10 oz water
5pm - 1/2 golden delicious apple, 1 oz almonds, 1 oz skim cheese stick (again, food that won't hurt the computer, can be eaten with one hand, and won't stain paper)
10 oz water
5:45pm - 1 white chocolate covered strawberry flavored biscotti square w/ dark chocolate swirls... (my "truffle" of the day, carried over from my Valentine's Day present)
10 oz water
8:30pm - 3/4 cup chicken and rice soup and a cream cheese wanton
I have realized that research is bad for my diet, all the more reason to get this over with quickly. Now back to work. I've got to get ahead of this because I have surgery on Friday and I might be out of comission for a few days. Hopefully the last surgery I need EVER.
Wish me luck!

Amy 293/140 - AT GOAL!
Gooooooooood Luuuuuck!!!!!!
I did much better today.
B - 8oz chocolate soy milk + 1 scoop chocolate protein powder + 2tbsp Khalua flavor syrup
S - 5 oz Crystal lite
L - 4oz plain yogurt with salt, pepper, and garlic
S - 5 oz crystal lite
D - 4 oz cream of mushroom soup
I need to finish the last 10 oz of Crystal lite! I will probably have a fudgesicle later tonight and possibly another protein shake. I have no idea how people get all their protein in when you can't eat meat.
Hey Ladies, Amy that's crazy you have been putting in all those hours but that sounds like such a fun project. Jen, I am glad to see you are able to eat a few things now. I know it is SO hard to get in enough protein at the beginning but you seem to be doing well. It gets much much easier!
I had a pretty good day. I'm trying to get back on track from a weekend away. I visited some friends that I didn't tell about the surgery so i tried my best to look like I was eating normal. I didn't do terribly but I definitely didn't make the best choices! At least today was better.
B - 1/2 english muffin w/reduced fat peanut butter and banana slices
L - taco salad - ground beef, lettuce, tomato, light sour cream and red. fat cheese
S - 1/2 serving cashews
D - tuna salad on 1/2 english muffin w/1 slice of american cheese (full fat, yummmm)
Lately I have just been feeling so blah and so sluggish and I know it is because of my eating. I'm hoping things turn around in the last month of my diet.
Breakfast-one buckwheat pancake with 1 tbsp. butter with 1/4 cup of syrup, 2 slices of bacon and 4 oz. of orange juice
Lunch-I went and got a chicken burrito bowl from Chipotle but made the mistake of adding guacamole to the bowl and I hate purple onions if they're not cooked, so needless to say I only took about 4 bites (chicken, cilantro rice, black beans, cheese, sour cream and guacamole)
Afternoon snack-I was starving after lunch so I went down to the deli: slim fast optima creamy milk chocolate drink, banana and m&m chocolate chip candy cookies
Dinner-3 oz. of chicken breast with 2 tbsp. of head country barbeque sauce, 1/2 cup of mashed sweet and white potatoes with 1 tbps. of fat free sour cream, 3/4 cup of green beans, 2 slices of 45 calorie bread with 2 tbsp. butter, 8 oz. of Tropicana Light Tropical Punch Juice
Dessert after dinner-mini cheesecake from Tom Thumb
Consumed 90 oz. of water for the day.
Woooooo finally getting back on track from the birthday feasting!!
