Eatin' Good in the 20's Neighborhood - Thirsty Thursday...

My my it is slow around here today!  Where is everybody?  I had a 2 hour lecture this morning (thankfully we only got 4 of the 5 inches forecast today...) and then successfully procrastinated almost the rest of the day (minus the 2 30 minute sessions of yoga I participated in).  I've got lots of homework but I am just unmotivated.  I need  kick in the pants...but at least I ate relatively well... 8:30 - 4 oz espresso, 6 oz skim milk, 1 oz sf davinci vanilla syrup, a dollop of cool whip 10 oz water 11am - 1 Ka****LC honey almond flax granola bar 20 oz water 2pm - 3/4 ravioli in meat sauce 20 oz water 3:30pm - 1 chocolate/hazelnut truffle...I was weak...it was yummy...and I only had one 5:30pm - 1 skewer of sautee` babee` (marinated grilled pork) And now I'm working on a 10 oz glass of water - around 8:30 I'm going to have some chicken caesar salad.  How's it going out there?

I was very hungry yesterday and just kept eating... then I felt crappy! Ugh b - tjs whole wheat muffin, egg white patty, slice of turkey bacon s - 10 raw almonds l - subway mini turkey sub, small container or light n fit yogurt, fiber one bar (then I felt like CRAP!) s - two bites of a Think! brand protein bar d - well we went to red lobster... I do not eat sea food so I knew I was getting some sort of chicken dish. We ordered, got our salad and those evil little cheddar bay biscuits. I ate most of the salad and most of a biscuit then couldnt eat any more... I felt like crap - not sure if I was mildly dumping (im not really a dumper) or if the biscuit was just too heavy for my pouch and hurting me while it was trying to move thru. So that was all I ate. I sat there and suffered while my BF ate his freaking "ultimate feast" plate of food.... he said we could leave if I wanted but I felt bad so I toughed it out. I am not one who throws up... but sometimes I just wish I could!

Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)

My goal for next week is to start up the protein shakes again. I think I just got burnt out on them. I saw some new milk at Central Market the other day called Mootopia and it's packed with protein, so I may make a trip there this weekend.  Breakfast-one packet of sugar free oatmeal, 2 slices of Nature's Own bread, 1 tbsp. butter, 4 oz. diet Ocean Spray Cran-Grape Juice Lunch-I brought my lunch to eat but one of my co-workers suggested at the last minute to go to lunch so we went to this place called Shish Kabob's. It was alright but definitely not worth $12. I had 1 1/2 beef kabobs with some dill-cucumber yogurt, 6 pita triangles, 1 cup of saffron rice, 1/2 cup of banana pudding (which was delicious by the way) Snack before Dinner-100 calorie pack of pepperidge farm cookies, chips and salsa Dinner-My brother and his wife came over to pick up the puppy so mom fixed a real nice homecooked meal...they should come over more often...lol. 3 small fried chicken tenders, 1/2 cup mashed potatoes with Fage yogurt mixed in, 1/3 cup cream style corn and 1 slice of pillsbury loaf of bread. Consumed 108 oz. of water for the day.

I don;t do protein shakes myself, but I believe the most recommended by nutitionists for WLS patients is Jay Robb.  It ain't cheap, though.  I have priced it at www.jayrobb.com.

Was on the go yesterday and I was off work so my routine was off...

B-Protein Shake

S-some Doritos...

L-3 chicken fries and 3 onion rings from BK

D-1 and a half oz steak 1/4 cup potato mashed w/butter, sour cream and some cheese, 1/2 cup salad w/ cheese and ranch dressing

Not a great day but oh well...today is a new one so I will do better today
