*sigh*  I fell off the wagon for a few days...but I'm back. 90 minutes so far this week - planning on 30 more minutes this evening with a yoga class.   That puts me at 570 for the exer-thon total - will be 600 minutes WHEN I follow through with class tonight.  10 hours

I fell off the wagon myself yesterday.  But provided I exercise Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as anticipated, I should end week 3 with 1,250 minutes or so.

Thank you.  When we started on January 21 I weighed 227, and my goal is to be under 200 by March 25, when I go on vacation. It is a pretty ambishish goal for someone so far post-op, but I am trying. As a great man, Jim Valvano, once said, DON'T GIVE UP.  DON'T EVER GIVE UP.

I have completed my exercise for the day. After 4/7 days this week - 222 minutes. After 18/61 days of the exer-thon - 1039 minutes.

I have been moving! I am up to 665minutes total exercised :-) While the minutes may be low I have been kicking my own butt in my workouts... I have kicked it up a notch this week with my weight training and have really been pushing myself. I am happy to report that the scale is finally going back down. When I started working out I went from 147 up to 153, as of this morning I am down to 149. I am noticing changes in my body... my arms are more defined, legs are toning up and my waist is thinning out - woo! I am excited for another week to pass so I can do my 4 week progress photos!

First visit to surgeon - 288 ~ bmi 45.1
2 week pre-op 252 ~ bmi 39.5
Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)

1/14/2025 still maintaining 135 :-)

Are you kidding me?  665 minutes in 18 days is awesome!  That's 37 minutes per day.  And you said the intensity is kicking your butt.  That is amazingly good!  Congrats!

When you break it down like that it is kind of amazing, isn;t it.  I mean, 37 minutes a day of intense work outs.  DUH!
