I'm glad to report that the biological father is NOT being given custody of baby Jaysea...he is still in the middle of his multiple attempted murder trial and the lawyers decided against asking for custody. He is allowed two hours on Tuesday and Thursday and Sunday at Mother's discretion...all meetings and exchanges must take place at the local Sheriff's station...if he is late for a pick-up or drop-off...no more visitation.
He is also responsible for Child support and all of the attorney's fees...Even with all the lawsuits from all his victims, child support will come first.
The best part is that when he goes to prison (God willing)...all bets are off for the paternal grandparents...they have no rights and no visitation...so there is no chance for them to be taking the child anywhere.
I feel so relieved...His other trial should last only a few more weeks...then he won't be a problem any longer...so now I keep my fingers crossed that the DA will do their job well and put him behind bars where he belongs...
Thank you for all your prayers and good vibes...it helped!!!

i am glad to hear all the prayers, wishes, hope or whatever inspires anybody paid off for your family. this is one of thsoe cases that its good there is no grandparent rights in california..i know alot about child custody, grandparent rights..we won our custody battle with my step daughter in end of 06. anyways glad to here everything went the right way, and thank goodness his lawyers had some common sense..
oh and about the visitaion with late drop offs and picks ups, they are pretty stict with this. so hopefully he flakes.
has your sister thought about if he goes to prision for several years, will she give the paternal grandparents some visitations, not necessarily by scheduled, but like to let her see them?
