Eatin' Good in the 20's Neighborhood - Superbowl Edition
You poor dear...I remember the day before my surgery...my Mom came home from church (i didn't go that morning cause of the liquid and the magnesium citrate LOL) and invited me out to eat...aghhhhh torture...But It was quickly forgotten...Sucess is only a few days away!!! B-1 and 3/4 kashi whole grain waffle w/ 1/4 cup s/f syrup L-10 chips w/ salsa 1 fajita w/ some refried beans Yum... S-Protein shake w/ some new s/f caramel syrup I bought last night YUM! D-Donato's pizza...I order a individual and eat the toppings...pepperoni and cheese...

Yuppers. I just got back to my apartment (it is 11:30 over here). The party was lots of fun, but until it was over and cleaned up after I was running around like a crazy person prepping food I can't eat and trying to keep my nephew from killing himself (over the course of the Super Bowl he fell off a table - don't ask me or anyone else how he got up there with 14 adults in the room - but he managed, slammed his fingers in a door and this is all on top of the fact that he is cutting teeth...poor lil guy). It was a pretty good day until about 3pm...that is when the food prep started in earnest and I started doing "quality control" tests of everything....
7:30 - 8 oz coffee, 2 oz warm skim milk
10 oz water
1pm - 3 pieces of broccoli, 1/4 cup of noodles, and chicken (we went out for Chinese since it is Chinese New Years today - the year of the Rat - and my husband just so happens to be a "rat" so he got his lunch for free...so I basically had chicken and broccoli minus most of the sauce and noodles)
30 oz water
and then the "testing" began....
3-4pm - 1/2 a freshly baked pretzel, 2 slices of ham/cream cheese pickle rolls, a ****tail weenie, 1 bread cube with spinach artichoke dip, and 2 cucumber slices
20 oz water
5-6pm - 2 wheat thins, 1 cube of cheddar cheese, 1 hot chicken wing, 1 bread cube w/ spinach artichoke dip
10 oz water
7-9pm - 2 bread cubes w/ spinach artichoke dip, 1 skewer of sautee` babie` (marinated pork), 3 taco chips with 7 layer dip, and 1 bacon wrapped waterchestnut
10 oz water
And now I have taken a tums and don't even want to know what all of that adds up to. Bad. Bad. Bad. Thank goodness the Super Bowl comes but once a year...

Amy 293/140 - AT GOAL!
Mom and I went to the movies yesterday at 11am and saw First Sunday with Tracy Morgan and Ice Cube (HILARIOUS, by the way). Instead of gorging ourselves on popcorn and milkduds we decided to bring a sandwich in with us.
11am-skinny chicken salad sandwich on wheat and 5 mini oatmeal cookies from Potbelly's Sandwich shop.
1pm-small cup of Paciugo gelato (mint chocolate chip and chocolate brownie) at Central Market
7pm-3 fresh homemade wheat tortillas from Central Market with 2 tbsp. butter and 1 tbps. of cinnamon sugar, a handful of tortilla chips with guacamole
8pm-2 more mini oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.
Today was a horrible eating day for me. I didn'****ch the football game so at least I didn't eat as badly as I could have.
Consumed 84.8 ounces of water for the day.
