Eatin' Good in the 20's Neighborhood - Drive By edition
I've been only able to drop by and read threads today- no time to respond to more than 1-2 this morning
though I will respond to more when I get a chance. I just wanted to make sure to NOT forget this. I didn't plan on it but now I'm staying at my mom's house until Sunday night because she decided to throw a Super Bowl party back when it looked like the Packers would be in it, then when that didn't happen she decided to have one anyway so we have an excuse to have a lot of people over to feed. She likes to feed people. Tonight I have made 2 desserts ("mud pie" and "strawberry pretzel salad") for the big event tomorrow that I would die if I ate. Wish me will power...tomorrow it is going to be a LOOOOOONG game with all the food my mom is prepping....But today I ate pretty well...
9am - 3 oz espresso, 3 oz skim milk, 3 oz carb countdown milk, 1 oz sf davinci vanilla syrup
20 oz water
11am - chicken breast strips wrapped up in 2 big lettuce leaves with tomatos, crumbled bacon shredded cheese and a drizzle of Italian dressing
12 oz orange juice w/ 6 oz magnesium citrate asdfr
3pm - 1 ka****LC honey almoooond flax granola bar
20 oz water
6:30pm - 3 oz prime rib, 2 slices of tomato and 3 bites of hashbrowns565 (YUM!)
10 oz water
Several licks, for strict quality control purposes, of chocolate pudding (for the Mud pie) and a couple finger fulls of cool whip....
and now I'm working on a small fajita made with a couple strips of my leftover prime rib, cheese and sour cream and salsa. YUM.
My two year old nephew, Sam helped me wtype this (he is sitting in my lap)....so sorry if I didn't get all the added numbers and letters he typed!

You are too adorable. And Hi Sam! You should have your mom do some lunchmeat/cheese roll-ups or stuffed mushrooms, or veggies with Fage yogurt/light sour cream dip. I don't have to with you willpower because you'll do GRRRRREAT! No repeat dumping episodes, missy!
As for me...
4 slimfasts. Yup. That's it.
Oh, and 34 oz of Crystal Light. Today was lame. Tomorrow is more of the same. Y'all have some Superbowl food for me okay?
Awe, thanks. Sam likes to push buttons so I kind of put his fingers on some of the letters I needed - but that was a bad idea because now he thinks he is a professional. lol.
Slimfast is a rough diet, especially when that is all you can have, but just a few more days and you'll be on the loser's bench!! Can you believe how quickly your surgery date came up? I really hope you're feeling good about everything. You are definately in my thoughts and prayers!

You're tellin me. I was very lucky to only have to do a 3 month diet instead of 6. I've been going through my closet and unpacking boxes of clothes I haven't seen in three years. I arranged them all by size and I won't have to go shopping for a while! I'm trying not to think about actual surgery but I had dreams all night long about it. *sigh* Thank you for the thoughts and prayers!
I have to work a 12 hour shift tomorrow so I will be missing the big game. Which is fine by me! lol. I am not into football at all.
