Eatin' Good in the 20's Neighborhood - Thur...ah Wednesday!!
Hey y'all!
I had a rough food day - dumped on a granola bar in the morning and I haven't quite recovered yet. So I was cautious.
7am - 3 oz espresso, 3 oz skim milk, 3 oz carb countdown milk, 1 oz sf davinci vanilla syrup

20 oz water
1pm - 3 oz cottage cheese, 2 saltine crackers
20 oz water
4pm - 3/4 cup chicken and rice soup
20 oz water
Probably will have some more cottage cheese before bed - I need the protien and calories. I sure hope your day was better than mine!

Sorry about the dumping incident Amy. I haven't experienced that yet, but if I have learned anything on here it's that it could happen at any time!
B - 1/2 oh yeah protein wafer
L - flax low-carb wrap w/healthy choice ham, spinach and goat cheese
D - cobb salad (lettuce, tomato, egg, chicken, bacon, blue cheese) - ate most of the "stuff" and left most of the lettuce, also 1/2 beer (but not at the same time as eating!)
S - currently snacking on 100 cal bag of microwave kettle corn (i add a little splenda for extra sweetness - yum!)
Not too bad today. I had dinner at a restaurant and still ended up making a decent choice. Eating out responsibly definitely was a huge challenge for me pre-op so it is quite an adjustment. But I am finally learning to focus on my company and the experience, not on stuffing my face!
Here's what I've had so far....haven't had dinner yet....
B---inside of sausage, egg, and cheese muffin---13g protein
L---boca chicken patty---11g protein
---1/2 cup edamame---8g protein
S---SF double chocolate pudding---1g protein (every bit counts, right?!?! haha...)
S#2---6 saltine crackers
D---not sure yet...probably something free from the coffeeshop my friend works at....half a bagel loaded up with cream cheese possibly??? Or this feta pesto pasta? Or the inside of a sandwich....we shall see.....I need more protein though!!!!
I can't wait until I get PAID tomorrow....then I can buy more protein packed foods at the grocery...I finished off my turkey meatballs last night and was sad I didn't have any today!!! I love those things!!! hahaha....they have like 5 grams of protein per ball too!!!
OK, I'm off to the coffeeshop...have a good night everyone!!!

I didn't end up going to the coffeeshop and made a better choice to eat at home...
D---2 Aidell chicken apple sausages (28g protein!!!!)
Total protein for the day....Still only 61grams..
Yesterday I had a nice high fat (both good and bad) junky day... just felt I needed it LoL... it sure cleaned out the old system. Sometimes I think my body just needs reassurance that it will still get some 'junk' now and then... especially with all this working out it just wants to know its not starving.
B - whole wheat english muffin with natural pnut butter and natrually sweetened black cherry jelly
S - 10 almonds
L - slice of pizza
S - handful of popcorn, 4 baby carrots, yogurt
S - two bites of a Think! brand protein bar
D - 1 chicken nugget (I didnt like the way this brand tasted) 5 tater tots and a salad, slice of havarti cheese
S - 2 pieces of kit kat bar (thanks to my BF, *******! at least I only ate half!!)
First visit to surgeon - 288 ~ bmi 45.1
2 week pre-op 252 ~ bmi 39.5
Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)
1/14/2025 still maintaining 135 :-)
