Eatin' Good in the 20's Neighborhood - TuEsDaY
Howdy 20 somethings! Today was my first day back to school and it was lots of fun. I only had one class and turns out there are only 3 of us in it. I guess International Human Rights is a bit too involved for people who aren't political science dweebs . How are the Execise-a-thon'ers doing? In honor of the exercise-a-thon I'm going to try a couple different exercises and today it was yoga. It was a lot better than I thought it would be. I have bad memories of yoga, probably because the last time I tried to do it was when I was at my heaviest, with all the grace of an elephant giving birth. But it was fun this time because I could actually do the moves. Anyway...
8:30am - 3 oz espresso, 3 oz skim milk, 6 oz calorie countdown milk, 1 oz sf davinci vanilla syrup
10 oz water
11am - Chicken taco salad (chicken breast, lettuce, diced tomatos, shredded cheddar cheese, diced red onions, some salsa and sour cream. I decided I need more veggies, so I'm adding more of the ones that don't give me the "foamies")
20 oz water
1-2pm YOGA!
3:30pm - 3/4 cup chicken stir fry
20 oz water
7pm - 3 cream cheese wantons...well, there goes the calories I burned doing yoga and then some...sheesh....
Now I'm sipping an 8 oz glass of orange juice. How are things out there?

Doing the first day of 5DPT. I was doing good until I had about an oz of pumpkin seeds. But really, that wasn't that bad lol. I've had so far today... 2 cookies n cream matrix protein shakes - 23g protein each 1/2 cup chocolate protein pudding - 11g protein 1 new whey bullet - 42g protein 1 carbmaster yogurt - 11g protein 8oz chicken broth - 2g protein 1 sf jello 1 oz pumpkin seeds - grr 99g protein Calories - 761, Fat - 17, Carbs - 28, Protein - 122 I did 30 min of cardio.

I did it to get back on track and decarb myself. Also in hopes to maybe get the scale moving again. The first 2 days are liquids, so thats why I feel bad about the pumpkin seeds. lol. I love them though and it was hard not to grab a handful today when I *thought* I was hungry. oh well!

Slept until noon, no breakfast...
Lunch: Protein Shake
Lunch: Tuna salad in wheat pita with deli cheese, few slices of 'block' cheese: swiss and cheddar
Snack: Yoplait Lite Key Lime Pie
Snack: Light string cheese
Hopefully the night demons don't ge the best of me after work around 11pm!
haha today was a BAD BAD day.....I'm warning you.....
B: 2 oz lasagna

L: 2 oz bag of cheetos

Have drank 1.5 bottles of water, and am currently working on 20 oz of crystal light lemonade....
oh what a bad day....LOL blah.....

Day 2 of the liquid diet. Started off alright.
11am - 4oz cottage cheese and 8oz f/f yogurt
2pm - Slimfast
5pm - 4oz chicken broth and 5 saltines
(went to gym at 830, did 30 mnutes cardio, burned 350 calories)
930pm - 6oz broccoli/cheese soup. This is when I started feeling ill. Not sure why. Was at 765 calories for the day, minus the 350 from gym. Came home early.
1130pm - egg salad (2 boiled eggs, 1tsp mayo, 2tsp mustard) on white tortilla with 1 slice turkey bologna.
I felt like I needed to eat something with substance or my body would get very upset with me. I still managed to stay under 1000 calories for the day so I don't think I sabotaged myself. I also had 60oz of water/crystal light today which is major for me. Huzzah!
breakfast - egg beaters three cheese flavor scramled with some chopped onions, two veggie sausage patties
lunch - about six slices of deli turkey, a slice of american cheese, some honey mustard and some pickle relish all eaten on about 15 wheat thin crackers
snack - a handful of peanuts
dinner - about three ounces of rotisseri chicken and 1/2 a can of green beans
snack - pringles 100 calorie pack and a handful of peanuts
exercise - pretty pathetic - I haven't done any in a week, but i've got a strained muscle in my upper back and a cold, so what's your excuse?!!!!
I fell really hard today. I knew I was going to have the house to myself and I overdid it. You'll see what I mean in my dinner stats.
5:30am-12 ounces of Fat Free Milk with 1 scoop of Muscle Milk Light, 30 minutes of cardio and 15 minutes of weights
7:30am-one packet of Sugar Free Oatmeal, 2 slices of Nature's Own bread, 1 tbsp. butter, 4 oz. orange juice
12:00pm-2 turkey tacos (taco shell, mixture of turkey and ground beef, fat-free refried beans, cheddar cheese) and some fat free sour cream on the side.
2:30pm-Slim Fast Creamy Milk Chocolate canned drink
6:30pm-I ate about 3/4 of an order of Cheese Fries from Outback with their side of delicious creamy ranch, 3/4 loaf of their pumpernickle bread with butter and a diet coke (Needless to say I was in the bathroom the rest of the evening. I don't know why I do that to myself. Luckily the scale was down a pound this morning.
I'm not going to even attempt to add up all of the calories. YIKES!!! I did consume 85 ounces of water for the day.
