Good idea, I think the goal is to make a concious effort to try to increase the amount of physical activity we do. How far we go will depend on our stage, fitness level etc. and of course some of us will want to focus on activity other then walking/jogging/biking for distance. Someone on another forum does a daily accontability / challenge post called "Did you MOVE to LOSE today?" - I think that's the idea.  Of course it's still not a bad idea to track miles for your own use, or if you wanted to challenge or team up with someone else who is doing the same thing. like a jogging division, or cycling division...
