I havent had surgery yet but that always happens to me, that little 5 pound hump you just cant get over.  Try doing a liquid diet for a week that might help get over the bump and help you get back on track

Stalls are a natural part of weight loss (they still stink though).  But to have one that has gone on since Sept seems really excessive.  What are your eating habits like?  I would suggest keeping a food journal for a few days.  Write down everything you eat and drink, and track the calories, protien and carbs on a site like fitday.com.  Be totally honest, so you can see where you need (if you need) to change things up.  If you're not exercising, start.  If you are exercising, change your routine.  If you're walking, try yoga, if you're doing yoga, try doing some weight training - your body might beed a change.  If you are eating well and exercising, you just might have to wait this one out.  I hope your stall days are over soon!

yeah, i second that.  I find that keeping a very detailed food journal (I use dailyplate.com) keeps me honest.  And when I hit a looong stall, I can usually see what I'm doing wrong.  This last time I wasn't drinking enough water at all.

If it has been at least 4 weeks where you havent lost pounds OR inches I would your NUT and schedule a follow up... if you do not work with a NUT then call your surgeon. If you are going up and down 5lbs at least your body is doing 'something' but it sounds like you need nutritional changes to get the scale moving again. The exercise will help but if your problem lies in the nutrition you need to work on that first. My eating habits changed at 6 months out... I was to eat more volume at each meal which means more calories/carbs I also had to lower the protein some - did you see a NUT at 6 months out??
