Just the vanilla for me. And I just mix it in plain water. Excellent.
I am OK with the calories. I probably don't eat enough anyways.

I usually just take one scoop instead of two.
Doubles the life of the container and cuts in half the content you would find on calorieking.com.
Ok, I'm going to have to try this now...I saw it at Wal-Mart for $13 for a big thing of it, but I wasn't sure. I'm still working on a 30 oz container of the Met-Rx Protien Plus powder. It wasnt that bad a first, but now, it's becoming rather gagable. I have had to add sf raspberry syrup and peanut butter to make it drinkable, and even still I'm finding it more difficult each day. Since everyone loves this, I'll be picking some up tomorrow.
Thanks for the info!

Since you are pre-op, you can probably use 2 scoops of powder per 10-12 oz. water. I'm not sure. If you need to lessen the calories, do like I do, and onlu use 1 scoop per 8-10 oz. water.
Thomas:
If you go to the Vitamin Shoppe or GNC you can buy ready-to-drink (big juice box size) containers of indivudual flavors to try them out and figure out which ones you like best before buying a huge canister of the powder...also keep in mind many people, including myself, report that their tastes for things change right after surgery, so you might not want to stock up to much just yet, but that is just another good reason to buy a bunch of diferent flavors to have around to sample for when you get home from surgery...also one last thing, you will want to limit your protein choices to those that are low in sugar (say less then 8 grams per serving) and sugar alcohol (sugar's nasy little brother which may F you up worse then sugar itself) a lot of protein drinks and especially bars that claim to be low carb or low sugar are in fact loaded with sugar alcohol, so be warned!
