Eatin Good in the 20's Neighborhood!
Today was boring, but better food-wise so far...
8:30am - 3 oz espresso, 9 oz steamed skim milk and 1 oz davinci s/f carmel syrup
10am - 6 oz nonfat strawberry yogurt w/ 2 tablespoons of kashi go lean cereal stirred in (think granola, only less sugar, more protien and more fiber)
20 oz water
1pm - Supreme Beef taco from taco bell (about 3/4 of it anyway...sometimes I can finish a whole one, sometimes not)
20 oz water
4:30pm - 3/4 cup mini raviolis in tomato and meat sauce (I need to stop this! But for some reason I am really liking this lately and it is SO easy to make...)
20 oz water
7pm - 1/2 cup mixed nuts
Currently working on a 10 oz cup of water...
That puts me at Calories - 1084, Carbs - 91 grams, Protien - 63 grams and Water - Approching 70 oz
Not too shabby. How's it going out there?

B: 1/2 c ravioli (great minds think alike Amy)
S: small handful of granola, with raisins picked out...eww
L: 3 slices turkey lunch meat rolled up w/ Lite Laughing Cow cheese inside and 1 cracker
D: 1/2 cheese quesidilla with extra cheese and a little lite sour cream
drank juice, water, crystal light peach tea...tons of it! And still drinking....
Amy: I like the idea of mixing a healthy cereal into yogurt - like you, I dump on cereal with milk - so this might be a good idea for me, plus, just plain or even flavored yogurt by itself is usually boring for me, so I'm definetely going to have to give that one a try...As for today's menu:
b: latte with mixture of sf french vanilla and Hood Calorie Countdown instead of milk
l: turkey slices rolled with string cheese shreads - about 5 ounces, and a 100 calorie pack of cheeze-its
snack - lean cuisine creamy spinach and chicken in gravy - very low carb and only 180 calories, and two more turkey roll ups this time using cheddar cheese.
s: another latte just like the one I had this morning - I really am a latte ***** but at least I save money and make them at home!
dinner: I made some stir-fry: one chicken breast very lightly coated with a corn-starch and mostly water slurry, onions, bell peppers, broccolli, toasted sesame seeds, and "Soy-Vey Island Terryiyaki Sauce thickened with a little corn startch - No rice or noodles, so the only carbs should be decent ones from the vegetables, a bit from the cornstarch, and a litte sugar from the sauce.
snack: The other half of my stir-fry from dinner
Fluids - two water bottles and two lattes that shouldn't count because of the caffieine, so i better drink up the rest of the night!
Overall, save for the fluids that I need to catch up on, I think I did really well today, mostly because I made myself stick to the every three hours rule...
The ka****hing in the yogurt happened last summer because I was on a yogurt kick and I ran out of granola, and the only thing remotely granola-esque was the kashi cereal I had around to up my protien on off days. It is actually really good and in vanilla yogurt it is almost like cereal and milk. I hope you like it if you decide to try it!
