Mike! I tried the cheesecake mocha espresso thing! AND OMG!
OOoooooh my good grief - it is heavenly! It wasn't exactly how Mike did it - but I never would have even thought to try anything like this without his inspiration.
I hate protien shakes/powders, so I used chocolate muscle milk (which is as close to a protien shake as I get) instead, then I used about 1/2 the s/f cheesecake pudding mix, 9 oz of chocolate muscle milk, 3 oz of espresso (instead of the instant coffee granuals), and a drizzle of s/f chocolate syrup (I'd say about 1-1/2 tablespoons) - then I tossed it all in my blender with ice - Yummmmmmmmmmmmmm! I haven't figured out the nutritional value of it all yet (I am afraid...but since it was all s/f stuff it logically shouldn't be that bad when you put it all together...) but WOW.
So I may not respond to any threads for a while because I have to sit here and drool over my mocha espresso cheesecake drink. Tomorrow I'm going to try something similar, but instead of a frozen drink I'm going to try to make a hot drink - think mocha cheesecake latte...
Mike rocks!

I'm glad you liked it, good idead on the espresso - I have tried that before with finely ground espresso - added the grounds right in - I know it sounds gross, but I like the grit....
Today I tried one with a few other tweaks - banana cream pudding powder and a new thing I bought called Carb Countdown which is very low sugar milk sweetened with splenda - man was it good and since I used all milk instead of milk and water it was creamier then ever. To me it almost qualified as a milkshake, but at less then 250 calories and 30 something grams of protein, much much healthier....
