I have to hurry up and head to the gym...But i have updated my page with a new post and some pictures. Thought i would let you all know! Also, in the spirit of the new year I think it would be fun if we all do Exercise updates the way we used to with our daily food! Reese you said you wanted to be held accountable the other day-I think we all do! So everyone have a great workout today...and come by and brag tonight!

well i had a very long stressful day at work yesterday so i was so looking forward to the gym...i ran my butt off on the tredmill for 30 min and did the eliptical for another 30 min i felt so much better after that i love working out now.

Sounds good to me! I have designed myself a workout plan and a goal of getting to my new goal of 145 by my birthday in mid Feb. I am still recovering from surgery this past Friday (gb removal) and cannot do any 'strenuous activities' for 2 weeks so I am putting in on hold until then... for now just been doing light walking. I am looking forward to starting my plan and seeing how many pounds/inches I can lose before the big 2-9!

First visit to surgeon - 288 ~ bmi 45.1
2 week pre-op 252 ~ bmi 39.5
Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)

1/14/2025 still maintaining 135 :-)

I had to take an easy day today because I killed myself over the weekend and yesterday. I did 30 minutes on the elliptical plus weight training today. This weekend I went hiking on Sunday then did plyometrics, and on Monday I did walking/jogging intervals.


Pre-op: 347 High preg. wt: 331  Current:  284 
Next goal: 283 Lowest post-op: 276

Well I did my first 25 mins on the Elliptical and then another 25 on the Precor....so that was 50 mins of cardio...I forgot how good it feels.  I suck at weights, cuz when I am doing them at the gym I feel like such a novice and all the meat heads look at me like im retarded....any good ideas for how I can weight train-esp my arms!

Does typing on OH for two hours count for anything? probably not, huh....As for arms though, check out this link recommended by the American College of Sports Medicine: http://exrx.net/Exercise.html You'll find just about everything you ever wanted to know about exercise and then some, it's no frills but it does included animations of how to do everything and it is all free!
