So my daughter and I volunteered at a local church dinner on Christmas Day.  We have never been there before and we were having fun preparing food for others and meeting some new people.  Then a lady comes up to me and askd me. "When are you having your baby???"  I was devastated!!!!  Here I have lost 35 lbs in a little over a month, changed my entire lifestyle, and become so much more healthy!  And NOW someone asks me if I pregnant???  No one has ever asked me that before!  Not even when I was at my heaviest!  I just told her that I wasnt and she didnt seemed that sorry for saying it.  I cried!  I didnt know what else to do, my mind was racing with things to say to her but I just didnt say anything.  I was pretty bummed the rest of the day.  I mean I know what I have accomplished and I am very proud of myself, but it still hurts some.  I will get over it..  I guess I should buy some new clothes so I dont look pregnant, thats the only thing I can think of.  All my shirts are too big but I dont want to spend a lot of $ until I reach my goal, which is 40 more #s!  Ugh!!

Well thanks for letting me vent!  I knew yall would understand!

Jeeeeeeez thats awful!! Sorry to hear that happened. I would say to definately get some clothes that fit :-) being at my weight if I wear shirts that are too baggy I feel that I look preggers - I wouldnt dare wear them out of the house! You dont have to spend a lot of $$ - this time of year are great after Xmas sales... I go to Express and buy their button down shirts for 9.99$-14.99$ most times... they also send out coupons, same with The Limited and NY&Co... target is also another staple for me... when I was there yesterday they had a bunch of stuff 75% off!

Aww Thats terrible!  Im osrry that happened to you.. Jennifer had some good idea**** up the clearance racks everywhere.  If you dont mind check the clothing exchange or just ask if anyone has a certain size.  I have been shopping at a thrift store that only has trendy cloths....  Its not so bad, I find alot of things with the tags still on it.

I know its hard, try not to let it bum you out!! I live in Northern Wis. Not to close to you but if you don't mind paying for shipping or if you ever get to the twin cities we could work somthing out. I was a size 26-28 and have clothes from there to size 14, ( currently a 12) That I would'nt mind getting rid of, My style of clothes are from layne bryant, fashion bug, torrid ect. some other brands also.( I recently had a stroke, so I cannot drive), email me if interested. OKay so I am only two weeks out, and have lost 40lbs and I have to say I so look pregnant right now! and yes I do think its because my current clothes are really baggy, unfortunetly Im in that strange place between sizes. My current size is too baggy, and the size below that is just a little to tight. I agree with everyone else hit up the clothing exchanges, and goodwills in your area. Itll make you feel better.
