Does your shoe size change after surgery?  My feet are wide and there are shoes that I want to buy from Aldo.  I'm a 10 because of the width should I go down a size or two if my shoe size happens to change?

my  shoes size went from a 10-11 to a 9 1/2 now at 4 months out. But i suggest getting what fits now because it was 3 months before they changed.

At time of surgery I was mostly in a 10.5, sometimes a 10. By 6 months out I was in a 9.5... at 9 months out I had to go down to a size 9... now I can sometimes fit into an 8.5, mostly size 9.

Yes! Your feet will shrink, you will lose fat deposits, and with the decrease in weight your feet will shrink from decreased swelling....Coincidentaly, I slipped on an old pair of sneakers the other day, and couldn't believe how big they felt, I had to untie them and pull the laces really tight....one negative - my feet look really veiny now...
