4 Month Checkup
Good Morning Everyone!
I rarely ever post...I normally just like to read but I have to share my office visit with all of you.
First off I would like to say that when I was doing my research for the surgery I would look around for people my age, weight, & height. Let me tell you it is hard to find people's height on these forums because it is not something people normally post. My point is this, IF you are
5'9" tall
Before surgery weight of 337lbs
Size 26 before surgery; now sixe 20
and 4 months along.......
feel free to compare yourself to me! LOL
I weighed in at 255lbs so that means I have lost a total of 82lbs! My doc says that as of right now I am a little bit ahead of the game. He told me not to be worried or dissapointed if I hit a plateau between now and 6 months. I talked to him about my goal weight of 175 lbs. I asked him if it was realistic or not.....he says that he expects me to get to 155 to 165! I could not believe my ears. I think I will look like a stick and I don't know if I want that! LOL
Just thought I would like everyone know about the progress because I was so excited about it!
Great job!!!!!! Congrats! You're doing awesome.
I am 5'9 as well and started at 343, lost 10 pounds during my 3 month wait, and hopefully will have dropped a few more pounds on my liquids. I'm in a size 24 top, 26 bottom. So sounds like we're very similar.
Anyways, you definitely inspired me. You're doing awesome!! And my goal is 170... 155 sounds skinny!!! I'm sure we'll know once we hit those weights. However, I was told to lose 10 over my goal because most people gain about 10 pounds after their honeymoon? Not sure how accurate this is.
I'm planning on getting to around 170 and then see what reconstructive surgery (I know my skin will be horrid so I'm already saving up) does to my weight.
I am definitely going to keep an eye on your profile for motivation :)
