Day 2 of Liquids

Well, I'm on day 2 of my liquid diet. So far, so good. Right now I'm just trying to keep a ton of liquid (mostly water) in my stomach at all times. Haven't had any real hunger *YET* I'm told day 3-4 are the tough ones. I have a little headache but nothing too horrible. However, I just resisted MAJOR temptation. A rep surprised us by bringing in a ton of pizzas (these boxes of pizza accompany 2 trays of cookies, chocolates, candies, a fruit bouquet, etc). I had 2 bowls of miso soup while people moaned on about how good the pizza was. They were LITERALLY right behind me- within arm's reach of where I sit. They're having another pizza party with some other rep tomorrow.  I am staying strong and determined and liquified :)

Good job, the pain of resisting pizza is just a small price to pay....you'll be able to try some again in a few months. In the meantime, resist the urge to liquify the pizza!

haha!!! Thanks so much for the encouragement. It was funny because I went to a support group tonight and it was their Christmas party and even they had a ton of food!  And "liquifying the pizza" sounds gross enough for me to stay away from it lol

Stay strong!  Keep variety around - different 100% fruit juices, different broths and decaf teas - and that might make it easier.
