My engagement ring....it was his grandama's wedding ring. Not worth much but had great sentimental value since she passed away when he was very young. That was for my Bday back in Feb. -Tamika

My ex bf - he bought me a Tiffanys bracelet for Christmas... it was thoughtful because he HATES crowds, HATES shopping and has social anxiety... he was very introverted and not good at talking to people he didnt know... he went to the mall and picked it out at the Tiffany store all by hisself. It was sweet.

OK well mine is not expensive, and you may think its lame. I had bad pluracy last year and at night i couldnt breath because it was so bad.  It was because of the cold...  So Ben went and bought me a Heated Blanket to help, And it sure did!  It help my pluracy so much....  That was very thoughtful.

That really is sweet...I know how much stuff like that means...everyone laughed when I was so excited that my hubby got me a pair of bulldog slippers last Jan. on my birthday because I was freezing all the time! Ben obviously cared about your health and comfort...that's far from lame! xxxBecca

A couple of years ago we bought a new house, it was great except the master bathroom was really small, just one sink and my wife didn't have enough room to store and spread out all of her makeup, lotions, potions, and other girly stuff...Our bedroom was big though, and my idea was to buy her a vanity dresser and stool. Unfortunatly, having just purchased our first home, and furnishing it, money was really tight. So I figured out a plan...I went to Ikea and bought some really cool shelf brackets and a really cool shelf, a modern looking mirror. a coll halogen light track, and a little red circular rug. Put it all together and you basically had like a salon station for about fifty bucks. I played with her though...when I gave it to her I wrapped each part seperatly, and made it a mystery for her as she opened them. The first thing I let her open was the shelf brackets. She was like: "you got me a bracket, OK...." then the board "Oh, wow a piece of wood, nice present!" When she opened the mirror she figured it out and she loved it, because not only had I gotten her something she could use and wanted, but I did it creatively....The project turned out great, I had an electrician buddy come over and he helped me install a new wiring so that the light could go in just the right place and we added a switch and an outlet on the wall for her hairdryer and iron....then  six months later we sold the house! We still have the rug though!
