But , I am also dehydrated
I am trying to get in all the water but it's hard...anyways the doctor said that he would rather me drink for the next couple of day then eat if not I was going to have to be put in the hospital..........so I guess I better start drinking up...lol..anyways I just wanted to give everyone an update....have a great weekend !

Congrats on the good start.....Drinking enough is a challenge for a lot of us early on...My advice - experiment! Figure out what works for you...For me, it was room temperature unsweetened tea with lemon. Cold was uncomfortable, hot was better, but room temperature was just right...Early on, I looked at the clock alot. Remember, we're not supposed to drink 30 minutes before or after eating every three hours so you only have two of every three hours to drink. I used to fill up a sixteen ounce cup with my liquid and tell myself I HAD to start it thirty minutes after eating and that I wouldn't be allowed to eat untill 30 minutes after finishing it. Do this four times throughout the day, and you will have the minimum 64 ounces you need, any more is even better!
First off congrats on 40 lbs gone forever.
I know it's hard to get your fluids in but you do just gotta keep trying. The dietitian that works with my doctors office told me that I could drink up until 5 minutes before I eat because I struggle with getting my fluids AND protein in still to this day, and I am supposed to eat 6 1-2 oz meals a day which I do good to get 3 in. Definitely listen to your doctor though. I've had chronic nausea/vomiting since day 1 so I have dehydrated soo many times it's not funny, but let me tell you it's definitely not fun having to go get fluids, not only does it stall your weight loss but when your dehydrated who knows how many sticks it'll take to get a vein. I actually ended up on TPN through a PICC line for 9 weeks and have a feeding tube (G-tube) right now because of constantly dehydrating and being unable to get near enough in orally.
Not trying to scare you but definitely keep trying!!!!
