Hello everyone! My name is Christine and I am going to be having a DS done by Dr. L on Nov.28th. OMG which is so not far away now. Starting to freak out a little about it now. umm this is normal right? lol Im so looking forward to joining the loser bench and starting the post op journey. I see some of the post op pictures that are posted and people are just looking so great and after recovering from the surgery everyone seems to feel so much better about them selves and have more energy. I can't wait to feel like that! Hope all is well Christine

2 week pre-op 252 ~ bmi 39.5
Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)

1/14/2025 still maintaining 135 :-)

Hi Christine, welcome..... The freaking out part is normal.. Personally I just took pride in the fact that 1. I was making the right decision and 2. after i go sleepy theres nothing I can do haha its all up to the surgeon! Welcome to the group were a pretty good group of people and have had diverse experiances which we are all willing to share :)
