Please... Be Careful Out There!

This post is fairly scary for me to make.  I feel it neccessary to warn or at least inform you all of what could happen if we're not uber safe/prepared before we go out on the town as a post op. Last night, Crystal and I went out like every Wednesday night.  Ya, its kind of lame, but its my only night I am totally free... so its Girls Night Out with Boys added in later if need be ha ha.  Everything was the same... except I didn't eat normally.  I slept allll day long- worked until 6 that morning, woke up at 2 pm.  Usually.... I'm up by noon, doing chores, etc. I didn't eat anything all day.... I did have some taco filling and cheese @ Crystal's while watching America's Next Top Model... but who knows how much that helped me? While we were out... We always start off with soda.... yummy Diet Coke, added some of those cherries @ the bar and went on from there.  I did try a new drink, the Mai Tai.  Boy does it do wonders on ya.  After that place, went to another joint with calmer music, better drinks and I LOVED the cushioned seating!  We had some drinks there as well. These drinks totally did a number on me.  Usually, I feel the alchohol work uber fast and roughly two hours later, I'm fine again.  No drunk feeling at all.... speech, movement, everything, just like before.  We grab something eat, and we're back home. Last night, I didn't sober up for what seemed like forever.  Even eating at the place down the street didn't help.  The drinks stayed... I felt it.  The only things different were my lack of eating the the drink I had... although normally I drink mixed ones!  So I don't know if that is a major factor. I am soooo thankful I was with Crystal and her boy toy.  They made sure I was safe and ok the entire time and I couldn't thank them anymore.  I feel terrible about how irresponsible I was.   I know there is a possibility of flaming and what not for drinking and whatever.... but I am open for that.  My point in posting is to encourage safety... make sure to eat before drinking!  PLEASE!  We're different and definately need to be safe. Ok.... back to your regularly scheduled program. *Muah*

I have had a cold ever since i had surgery.  my doctor told me to take tylenol cold.  so i bought the nightime because that is when i cough the most.  the first night i took it, i was barely able to make it to my bed.  i felt like i had been on a drinking binge.. i did not think that it would effect me so much, but i have been careful since then.
