I'm still alive...

I've just been super busy and exhausted since starting work again last week. It's going to take awhile to get used to waking up at 4:30 and not getting home until 5pm again...Plus it has been hot and I work outside...but the good thing is I can notice a big difference in how I feel at work without an extra 120 lbs to lug around. The good news is that i have already been given a new and better job, now I just got to learn how to do it, in the meantime I'll fake it until I make it...

I was wondering when you were gonna post something!!! I am glad to hear the job is going well!!! I bet you are nice and tan, and here I sit, so pale you have to wear sunglasses to look at me. I may need to make a trip out west to get some sun!!!!!

You're right: Yes i am very tan, but I have to wear long pants a hard hat, and sunglasses, so it is kind of a farmer's tan =) And yes you need to make a trip? Maybe to see the Pack play in the Super Bowl here in Phoenix...too bad the patriots will probably beat them this time...

That valley traffic is a nightmare! 

I sort of lucked out for now. they've got me running a job for ADOT -  a highway project on US 60 east of town between Florence Junction and Superior, and since I have a company truck, i just have to drive in the opposite direction of rush hour on the new san tan freeway and us60 for 30 minutes and I'm there!

Wow!  No one is going east on the 202 and the 60 at the rush hours!  That is one of the things that bugged me about staying in Apache Junction when I was a kid.  We had no where to go but west, unless we went out to Gold Canyon.

We miss you, but working is more important and some just arent as lucky as me to have a job where your at a computer most of the day.
