So.. as I look at ppl's profiles and I see that everyone writes how much they weigh.. but I don't see barely anybody saying how TALL they are!  lol I'm still new at this and I know that there's alot more issues that are involved then just THAT; in order to be approved of this surgery but it would just be nice to know; like I'm 5'7 1/2 and weigh about 300lbs.. but if i just said I'm 300lbs.. i mean .. I could be like 5'3. I duno maybe it's just me.. I guess i'd just like to see if there's anyone out there whose about my size..just so I could have a little comfort in knowing that there's someone else out there around my size i guess..  ok i'm rambling now .. haha Thanks GuYS! <3

the approval process depends a lot on ur BMI. you should be all set as long as you are over 40 in most cases. and i checked yours and you are almost at 47. so i don't think you have a lot to worry about, but a lot does depend on ur insurance too, so good luck!

Im 5'8", and I was 301 the day of surgery, and have lost over 100 lbs. So, we are pretty much in the same boat. I find that now it is way harder to lose weight (14 months out) so my suggestion is to totally work out and work hard at eating right so you can maximize that first year potential!!!

I've always done that too. So many people forget that height, build, muscle mass, bone density all make a huge difference. So I have long since put my height and age into my signature for this reason. If someone wants to know more they can read my profile check out my pics etc... And Im 5'10"
