is this normal??
I have lost a total of 35lbs since surgery. I am really happy for that and everything, but.....
I am going to be 8 weeks out from surgery tomorrow, and 2 months out on the 11th. I feel like I have lost less than most people at 2 months out. I am kinda frustrated that I feel like I am not losing as fast as others.
I know that i should be grateful for every pound I lose, and I am but I just feel like I am the dumb kid that is not losing like the others... I drink my protein and get 80g a day like my doctor wants, I take my vitamins every day and drink as much water as humanly possible. I exersize as often as I have time for and go for 1 to 2 hours when i go. I am not sure what my point is, I guess I am just wondering how I measure up to where everyone else was two months out?

I was actucally less than where you are.
Keep in mind depending on how much you had bypassed it will change how quickly you drop the weight. My surgeon does proximal - I was told to expect 10-15lbs the first 6 months and 5lbs a month after that... I did just about that. I saw people with the same as me to lose (around 100lbs) zip to goal in 6 months... they all had distal procedures. So please please please do not compare yourself to others! Its not a race.... use the time wisley to work on yourself... developing proper eating habits, changing your relationship with food etc... the weight will come off it just takes time :-)
