Ok here is my question, do you submit your paperwork to the insurance (Cigna in my case) company after your 6th PCP visit or after the 6month, which would be the 7th visit?  If I count it out 6 visits from Sept 10, 2007 would be February 10, 2007...6 months would be March 10, 2007.  Which one did you do?  And if you had/have Cigna let me know what their determination was/is.  Thanks

You should have 1 visit a month for 6 months... once you complete the last visit you can submit. You have to make sure all the visits were pertaining to the 6 month pre-op diet... if you are counting the first time you saw your PCP to talk about the surgery... depending on the visit it may or may not count. You and your PCP would have had to discuss your 6 month diet, have a weigh in and have it all documented in your chart.

First visit to surgeon - 288 ~ bmi 45.1
2 week pre-op 252 ~ bmi 39.5
Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)

1/14/2025 still maintaining 135 :-)

Extended TT, lipo, fat injections - 11/2011

BA/BL/Arm Lift - 7/2014

Scar revision on arms - 3/2015

HALO laser on arms/neck 9/2016

Thigh Lift 10/2020

Thigh Lift revision 10/2021

i didn't submit my own paper work but the people wo did submitted at my 6 month weigh in but if your first visit was just the consult then yeah it would be the 7th visit...for me i went to my consult in January and so my six month visit took place in July...sounds confusing but i hope you understand...it took about 2-3 weeks for me to hear something back from them but i got approved so good luck and from what i hear as long as you have all your pre-op requirements filled you shouldn't have any problems...good luck!!!!
