ok .. i'm a little confused

Is this woman who said that she didn't know they sell fish at the store for real? Is she trying to be sarcastic/funny? Her previous comment had me going hhhhuuh??? also ..

Well, the only thing I can think is that she didn't realize that they sold catfish.. My mom's a seafood manager and it's at the store or department manager's discretion whether or not they sell certain types of fish. Perhaps the store she normally does her shopping in only carries a low amount of seafood. By the way the reciepe sounded great! I might have to try it myself.. thanks!
