OT x-post: Had to share

Well my looking is over FINALLY, it only took 10 and a half hours to find..... The greatest soundtrack score since Titanic, Go ahead and laugh at me BUT it is a gorgeous score OBVIOUSLY minus that song by Celine. James Horner has got to be one of the greatest composers of our time.His use of not so common intruments is amazing. And now Steve Jablonsky holds that title with me now too. With the score from Tranformers. Amazing is all I can say, the use of all the different instruments that , I honestly haven't heard combined or used as the carrier in a score by anyone since Horner. Yes I am a sucker for good strong scores, the ones that drive emotion. Being a old instrumentalist (well not that old) Ive done my fair share, trumpet, baritone, tuba, clarinet, a little flute, alto clarinet, but by far my favorites Bass and Contra-bass clarinet (these things were a realitive 3feet and 3.5 feet tall, lol). But ok my daily ramble. Quite honestly I don't care if you never see or seen the movie. It is an amazing score, take a listen ...probably online, since finding it in stores is really hard....hahaha I called 11 places today. Finally found ONE COPY left at Borders had to pay $20 for it on top of that.Oh well SOOOO WORTH IT! THE TRANSFORMERS SCORE JUST GOT RELEASED TODAY! And it is that hard to find! But side note Jaci- Girl I tell ya would make awsome Free Style Reining music! Now just need me a reining horse!

Hell no.

Never went to band camp. Played Symphonic. None of that crap for me, lol. But boy did I ever hear stories about band camp....hahaha YIKES aint to far off from the movie, LOL.
