A little frustration...slight rant

The hightlite of every fall for me is going to AQHA Congress in Columbus Ohio. Sadly I couldnt go last year after a nasty incident that put me in the hospital for near all of Sept and couldnt go back to work till November. But I digress... I am on pins and needles right now cause it ain't worth going without someone to go with. The one person I knew would go. I want nothing to do with right now, after a few things I found out. Quite honestly I would probably beat them up if I seen this person. So nice to stick your neck out and help someone then have them turn their back on you! And Im supposably their best friend....shoot me now. Not sure if the BF can go, harvest season and I don't know when deer hunting starts. UGH! Im frustrated. I missed last year I do not want to miss this year but I AM NOT going alone. Yeah many hot cowboys (not including my bf wouldnt be happy at all.....farmer/cowboy and good with a gun (does shooting competitions)...can we say he does get jealous.....thats another story though, lol.) tons of liquor, live music, and just fun. I am gonna ask a couple other friends but UGH. Never did I think it would come to this...not having someone to go to Congress with. Boy talk about rotten. Geeze. Thanks for letting me rant ya'll.

American Quarter Horse Association . And its Congress(large show) is one giant party for like the whole month of October, Good looking cowboy and cowgirls, fun, shopping, drinking (you can buy a BOOT of crown and coke), and a horse show if you want to watch, lol.

Yup! Thats what most of the guys do anyway. Especially when the women out number the men by atleast 5-6 to 1. LOL Good odds Good Odds!

Well, I live in MN, not MI. Also, I bird hunt, as poosed to deer hunting (like I believe you said he does). So I'm not positive when your deer season is, but my guess would be mid-November.

Well depends on deer hunting with bow or deer with gun. Deer with bow I think is end of Oct begining of November. Then Deer with gun opens 2-3 weeks after that. I just dont know the dates. Course I think he hunts just about anything, LOL. But happy hunting someone has to keep the little buggers in check. LOL

Girl... if I was any closer I'd sooo be there with you! Gooo cowboys, drinking and partying! Oh baby oh baby :) Your friend situation seems to mirror mine.... damn girls. That's why we have our animals and guys right? Guys don't do drama... what's up with that? ha ha! I still think with our new attitudes/selves we need to do stuff on our own more often. Think of all the wonderful people you'll meet that your friend might have stopped you from meeting! I would kill for the chance to head out to the national rabbit show in Michigan this week all by my lonesome :) The food, the booths, the bunnies, the people.... oh wow... HEAVEN! he he
