Driver's license??

So, I thought I would bring up something I used to dread and now I love doing!  PICTURE TAKING! :) I used to HATE having my picture taken because my face was always SO puffy in the photos and I looked like a giant walking bulge. (Oh wait, it's because I was.) I'm feeling 100% better about myself and I started to look at old photos today. Well, I pulled my Driver's License out and low and behold.. The person in that photo isn't me! Well.. not the same me. Looking at me now and looking at my DL.. it's like looking at two different people!!!! I'm worried that one day someone is going to say, "I'm sorry Ma'am, we can't accept this as you."  Too bad my DL doesn't expire until next year.. Here's to another year of weight loss and a DL that doesn't look a thing like me! Does anyone else feel this way? Or am I completely insane? I'll take either.. already knew I was walking the loony side anyway! Zandra

Especially in the last 4 or 5 months, I get asked is this really you? I say yes I had WLS. At the bank the other day, I was trying to cash my financial aid check from school. The teller said okay, well it's obvious you lost weight. I said yes I have lost 122 pounds as a result of WLS. She took my state and school id and showed them to all the tellers. And they all said wow you look so different, you look so good. So before, I guess I looked bad? Anyway, funny how things go, how people treat you different and who now takes the time to talk to you and open doors for you! Holli

I loved my first DL picture from YEARS ago. I actually begged them to let me keep it. This one I have currently.. Not so much. I'm glad you like both your DL pictures! I didn't know you could drive a Motorcycle! Go you with your bad self! Holli-- I think that's awesome that you had people ask you for two forms of ID! That's what I can't wait for.. I see people look at me two or three times when I had them my DL and I just wait for the other shoe to drop. Hasn't yet, maybe soon.

I am SO with you and am sooo upset I lost my wallet last year!  In it was my DL and my huge face ha ha.

When I went to get a new one, they wouldn't help me without my passport for additional ID!  Then, the lady ran around with my photos and showed everyone in the DMV how I changed- talk about embarrassing!

I've never been accused of being camera shy, but now I'm a complete camera hog! Haha! I decided I needed a new DL photo when a bouncer denied me. A-hole. Haha! :)

I've had mine retaken 3 times! And it doesnt expire till next year. I was actually question when I was 6 months post -op when I pulled over for speeding...hehehe 85 in a 65, lol. Im such a Michigan driver. You wonder why the speed limits on the freeways here are 70, lol. Dont be afraid to get a new one done. It only costs like $9 here.

Won't hurt to check but Ive never heard of anywhere that you can't get a new one done.
