Dating after WLS! Just makes you feel good!

So, how weird is this? I met a guy, he asked me out...and of course, like all fat girls, I said self depreciating fatty humor, and he told me to stop! He told me that he thinks I'm beautiful, I'm normal, I'm not fat, and I just...stopped! Girls, is it weird, or what, being of "normal size?" I'm 13months out, and hadn't had a date in 4 years, partially due to being so heavy and feeling ugly. Now I realize I'm not. So, feel beautiful ladies (and men too, if ya want!) because no matter what, there are people out there who don't care that you used to be obese (and if you're not to the place you want to be yet, no matter: you WILL get there!) and will like you for who you are. There are people out there who WILL be attracted to your beauty and intelligence! Live it up, we are still in our 20's and able to be reborn from WLS is a fantastic journey! Gotta love the new skin I'm in, and I hope you all do too!

I am SO with you!  Its amazing- the attention, the looks, the friendships.  The internal beauty has finally emerged and everyone can see it! :)
