cross post: I am alive!!!

Hey everyone!  Boy, do I ever miss you guys!  But, I'm telling you, I am finding it time to do ANYTHING nowadays..... School is going well, I made an A on my FIRST nursing test....YAHOO!!  Class average was a very low B, so I was very excited about my A.  I have SO much homework to do this weekend...I should be doing some now, but I just had to update you guys!  There's just SO much to do and remember...it's insane.  I have another test in my nursing class on Monday and then a test on Tuesday in my bible class...fun fun I got a job finally!  I am a shift leader at Sonic...and before you all freak out...honestly, it doesn't tempt me.  If anything, working around the food for 8-9 hr shifts just makes me SO NAUSEATED!!  It's bad....I had 2 bites of a chicken strip the other day b/c I was feeling dizzy...but that was enough...didn't make me sick, but I sure didn't want any more....just needed something to take the dizziness away....So far, I'm only a part time worker...but they just fired like 3 people in 2 days...so the manager promised me some more hours this upcoming week...yipeee!!!!  Hours=money...and money=bills paid....which is good :-) Other than school and work, Jon is doing good....we're both just working, and trying to keep up w/ the housework...he's been a dear....been helping me out SO much lately!  We're also doing our darndest to get the last of our boxes unpacked....but it's sloooooow moving for sure!  We're going out to eat either tomorrow night or Sunday night....we've just GOT to do something together away from the house.....and we might go play a game of pool or two...we'll see.... Also, in case you didn't notice my ticker yet.....190 baby!!!   51 lbs gone....thank the Lord!  I'm finding more and more clothes that don't fit too well anymore....and I need to buy some new panties ASAP...mine are literally FALLING off of me.....yipeeeeee!! I miss you all so much, and I'm so sorry that I haven't been around and I really have no clue what's going on in each of your lives but I still pray for each and every one of you every single day....I love you guys and without you I wouldn't be where I am today!  Thanks for everything. love and hugs Rianne

glad to hear your still alive. I totally understand the school thing, and that is awesome about your test. hope you get more hours at work soon. Glad to hear the food is not tempting you. This gives me hope. I work in a kitchen right now, and Im worried that after my surgery I will be tempted too eat when I am ther. We get free food,a nd everyone is always eating. The bad thing is I work for the kitchen in a hospital, and really it is almost as bad as Sonic. i really do not think there food is healthy at all.

Thank you so much :-)  You can do it...I know you can!  I worked at Sonic for 4 yrs in high school/early college and I was a Sonic-aholic.....so if I can resist it...I know you will be able to!  Oh believe me....Sonic food is NOT healthy...lol....except MAYBE the grilled chicken....maybe.... Welcome back stranger!  That is completely super about your test...keep it up!!! Don't worry about the fast food- I am a Shift Leader at Jack in the Box.  The fried chicken in NASTY!  I mainly stick to burgers or the grilled chicken, but am guilty of swiping spicy bites or cheese sticks. Don't burn yourself out, Chick.. but I know you'll be just fine!

Thank you so much :-)  I was pretty psyched!  I've never eaten at a Jack in the Box....I've never even seen one in real life....LOL only on TV I'll do my best not to burn out....just tons of stuff I've got to do and so little time....you know how it is... Hope all is going well for you!

I'd been wondering how you were...sounds like you are doing great!  Sounds like the weight is just falling off like no tomorrow!  Already in Onederland and everything.  Congrats!

Congrats on the test and the new job. Sonic huh, I went there the other day for the first time since surgery. Just isn't the same without a sugar-loaded drink - but no way am I going there...I bought a grilled chicken wrap at 3 pm and onion rings. I ate two of the huge rings in the car and was nauseus. I didn't finish the meal until 10 pm that night and that was without eating any of the tortilla or lettuce, just the chicken and onion rings. Fast food just isn't the same for me anymore. but that is a GOOD thing!

LOL I know the feeling.....I tried the meat from a double cheeseburger from McD's (about 1/4 of the 2 patties) and...it just didn't taste the same w/o a huge french fry and soda.  I didn't get sick or anything, I think just mentally it's not the same for me.... but, like you, I agree that it's probably a good thing!  I definitely wouldn't make it a habit or anything..... The grilled chicken is actually healthy....I mean, the way it's cooked and everything it's not cooked in oil or anything....the onion rings however....yeah....no comment ;-)   I tried to order a cheddar pepper about a week ago....I took one bite and INSTANT Nausea.....I promptly threw them away!!!  haha  Oh well..... WOW Rianne, Sounds like you are doing fab!  I am excited fr you!..  190 means I am jealous! haha... I am glad that you are so busy doing things that you doing have time here, thats a good thing haha... Anyway I am excited for you!
