So I took the plung, lol. I ordered bariatic vitamins. My Nut highly recomends we get on them at 2 months out or so. SO here is what I got. 100% Chewable Essential Package ( Orange Calcium / Black Raspberry Iron ) 90-Day Supply: Chewable Multiple Vitamin ( Mixed Berry), Chewable Calcium Citrate (Orange), and Chewable Iron 30 mg (Black Raspberry). I ordered them from www.bbvitamins.com What vitamins do you take? I think I will still have to take b-12 on top of this and I know I will still take and anti acid. I opted for the chewable since calcium is a pain any other way.

I take everything the nutritionist at Duke told me to which is: 1 daily multi-vitamin (the minimum requirements are what is in a regular Centrum Multi - I use a generic equivalent instead) 1 B-12 sub-lingual lozenge (I got mine at the the Vitamin Shoppe 3,000 mcg - no chance of an overdose because it is a water soluble vitamin which means any excess the body doesn't use is excreted in the urine.) 1200 mg of Calcium Citrate - Citrate over carbonate form for better absorbtion - and not taken all at once, rather split into two doses. I used to have chewables but they were awful, Now I just swallow big horse pills - Walgreen's brand - two twice a day 1 - Prilosec OTC - to prevent ulcers - every day for one year - I was originally taking Protonix (prescription) but it was expensive, so with the nut's approval I switched to Prilosec which I buy at Sam's Club - a month's supply is twentysomething dollars. I also take 4 stool softeners each day to stay regular - never a problem until after I had this surgery. The one's I find work the best for me are a generic version of Peri-Colace - There is colace which is a softener - then there are one's that also have a laxative ingredient. The one I buy is Walgreen's brand "Stool Softener plus laxative" Sounds like a lot of pills to remember, but I just got a little case with a compartment for each day of the week and fill it up one time. I actually swallow them all at once, citracal horse pills and all!

Stay with the b-12. I know they are all important, but the B-12 is very. I take a liquid form under my tongue everyday. I get it from CVS or Wal-Mart. I order iron from Bariatric advantage on the web. I also take Flinstones~ Holli
