I'm Home from the Hospital

Hey Guys! I am home from the hospital.  I know I asked via Kyle for prayers that my surgeon would decide to do surgery this week, but he didn't.  That kind of bums me out but I am trying to understand.  It is going to be a big operation and he wants to be absolutely sure it is necessary so in 2 weeks (yes, I have to wait 2 more weeks) I'm going for a round of tests and if they come back conclusive or at the very least they don't completely rule out what all indicators point to he's going to do the procedure that same week.  So I'm most likely having surgery in mid-late September.  Unfortunately that means I have to take at least a whole week off of school, but I'm willing to do that and I think my profs will work with me.  I am back up to 141 pounds from the 123 I dropped to, probably from fluid but also from getting food shoved at me as soon as I was cleared for it.  I look better at 141 anyway.  As for now I've got to go recover from my hospital stay.  I had my laptop with me so if you check my blog in a few hours you'll get the full story of my time there, suffice it to say I had awesome nurses but hospital stays are never as relaxing as you think they should be.  I cannot thank you enough for the kind responses to the posts Kyle made.  He read them to me over the phone and printed them out for me to have at the hospital with me and that made my trip much more bearable.  I hope to be more active now that I'm feeling better (this new tube I have is a wonderful short term solution) - but right now I need a nap.  I love you guys and I mean that!

Thanks Reese!  I start school on Tuesday so that means a lot of time in the computer lab in between classes so definately I will be around.  I am glad you're here.

Amy, Glad to here that you are back.  I am glad to see you put on a few pounds 123 is probably too small.  Like you said you look better at 141.  I hope your doctor makes his decisions quickly and you can the the procedure.  Glad your back sweetie!!!
