My weight loss is VERY slow.  I am really eating the things I am suppose to.  Not sure...what else can I do to boost up the weight loss?

A couple of things...First, I noticed that you are about six weeks out - SO MANY of u**** our first plaeau somewhere between three and 8 weeks out - just the body adjusting to the rapid weight loss early on. It WILL pass...The other thing you can try is more exercise - I don't have to explain that!  You could try searching on here for the "plateau-buster diet" that has been going around. One thing that recently worked for me during a slow down was cutting back my carbs to try to force my body into ketosis - My aim is for 30-60 g of carb per day, and at least lower then my intake of g of protein. The only other thing I would recommend is to make sure you are getting enough food each day and to make sure that it is at 2-4 hour intervals - both to make sure you keep your metabolism burning. I think metabolism often slows to a crawl during the tenuous early weeks after you resume eating because it is still hard to get in even 1000 calories...Hope this helps, and if it doesn't - your Nutritionist should always only be a phone call away.

Mike pretty much got it - (he is so smart, that Mike ).  I have a couple suggestions, but sometimes there are just going to be slow times and that is okay.  Your body needs to catch up.  But anyway, here are some things to try.  I swear by my food journaling.  I write down EVERYTHING that enters my mouth and when it enters.  This helps keep my honest, even if it is only to myself.  It helps me be aware of how much or how little I'm getting and also shows me where I can adjust.  I write everything down and then at the end of the day I plug everything in on fitday.com to track calories, carbs and protien.   Make sure you are getting enough protien and water (fat leaves your body through water so when you are dehydrated even a little your weight loss will suffer).  And if you don't have an exercise routine - start one.  Even if it is just walking for 20-30 minutes a day it will make a difference.  Shoot for doing this 3-4 times a week and gradually increase your time and speed.   I hope you see some results soon.  Be patient, it'll happen.
