Meal Ideas?
Hi everyone. Well, its that time of year again. I started school on Monday, and Im sure many of you are in the same boat. I was wondering if anyone could give me healthy grab and go meal ideas. I did pretty well while i was out of school, and lost about 15lbs, but when im in school I start relying on junk food, and fast food too much. I don't have much time to prepare or cook meals. I need some ideas of fast healthy, protien packed meals. Any suggestions? Thank you all.
You may want to try the SouthBeach Frozen entrees (it's 2 meals for me). My lifestyle is grab and go as well. I usually just take one of those, a protien shake and a yogart to work with me and I am set for my 10 hour day. Hope you find something that works for you!

Beef jerky, nuts (I am loving macadamias, almonds, cashews and peanuts right now), string cheese, canned protien drinks (if you can stand them) and dried fruits. If you eat at the cafeteria at school (I occasionally do) go for broth based soups, wraps instead of sandwiches (pull off some of the bread or wrap to cut out carbs), salads and fresh fruits. Our Student Center has a little Tex-Mex place that has great tacos, fajitas and stuff like that and since I am totally a Tex-Mex freak I get something there and eat the insides and leave most of the tortilla alone. This is so good of you to be thinking about before your surgery date gets close. You are going to have the post-op diet thing nailed by then.
