Eatin' Good In The Neighborhood - Monday's Menu
Greetings, I'm back, still trying to get settled in... Eating wise yesterday was kind of a challenge, it was sort of busy and I wound up eating less then I should have but I did manage to get in enough water and protein. It's going to take some getting used to living here with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law - everything in this house is organic and almost strictly vegeterian - I have been shunning carbs lately, but it seems there are even more carbs then I can resist around this house and last night was included inside of my dinner...So here's how I did: pre-b; 16 oz coffee, with 3 splendas, and 2 tablespoons of NF milk b: egg whites, with chopped cherry tomatoes, green onions, and a tablespoon of shredded cheese. l: three slices of sara lee bbq rottisserie flavor chicken breast, a slice of pepper jack cheese, and half a whole wheat handmade tortilla from trader joe's (these tortillas are good!) d: 1 cup of a green chili with whole wheat couscous, brocolli, squash, and cheese casserole, some lettuce with ranch, and two tablespoons of black beans and a slice of sara lee chicken breast s: a double scoop of protein powder with 16 oz of water totals on the day: 701 cal, 20 g fat, 48 g carbs, and 84 g of protein
