I made it here last night around 9 PM AZ time....My best freind all of a sudden Thursday night decided to tag along, so we left Friday night at 7pm edt, drove 28 hours straight to Albuquerque, NM before we crashed at a motel. Then yesterday we drove to Meteor Crater, Flagstaff, and Sedona, before arriving in Gilbert (Phoenix) after 2196 miles! I will post much more later, but for now just wanted to check in...

Thanks everyone...I'm still waiting for my friend to email me the pictures we took. We also kept a log of everything we did and he is going to turn it into a blog, I will keep y'all posted.... It is very hot here, even by Phoenix standards, today's high forcasted to reach 111 is pretty darn hot. But I still like the fact that sweat actually evaporates here since it is so dry. It makes things a lot more comfortable and better smelling compared to where I was in the muggy Carolinas. I have worked in landscaping in both environments and actually think it is worse their, plus I hate working in cold weather, and that rarely happens here....
