Eatin' Good in the Neighborhood and Roll Call - From HOME!

Yup, that's right - I'm HOME with my husband where I belong.  I've been staying with my mom and sisters for the past 3+ weeks because my doc wanted someone with me 24/7 to help me do my tube feedings and just to make sure I didn't have any emergencies with no one around.  Well, I got clearance from my doc to feed myself (it is kinda tricky because I am not that coordinated, but I think I'll manage) and as long as I can have someone on call he said I'll be okay.  Tht means Kyle (my husband) got to come to pick me up last night,  YAY!  Today we went to Chucky Cheese for my little nephew's 2nd birthday party and now I'M HOME!  Never felt so good!  That is why I didn't post yesterday - I was a bit busy.   So we'll start with today - Friday - the start of the weekend.  Are you setting yourself up for a binge fest or did you stick to your guns and come out ahead with a protien packed day?  What are your plans for the rest of the weekend?  Unfortunately I'm still technically on "bed rest" but I was successful in gaining 1.5 pounds (this is good news!) over the past 2 days so I felt okay going to Chucky Cheese (I mean whack-a-mole isn't THAT rigorous of exercise) and tomorrow if I feel up to it I'm walking (and you can't stop me ).  Other than that I'm just going to hang ou****ch Sex and the City (my freind lent me her box set of ALL the episodes on DVD) and enjoy being home with my husband (when he's not working that is).  Because we were out and about I neglected the tube feedings for today (bad Amy) but I got enough solid food to make up for it.  This is 100% better than I was doing a week ago.  For food today.... 8:30 am - 2 bites of Kyle's Cinnamon melt from McDonalds, 12 oz coffee w/ 8 oz steamed skim milk and 2 packets splenda 11:00 am - 1 slice cheese pizza w/toppings from another slice 12 oz water 3:00 pm - Grilled Chicken taquito from Taco Bell (I took of 2/3 of the tortilla) w/ sour cream dip 12 oz water 6:00 pm - 15.2 oz Bolthouse Farms Perfectly Protien Hazelnut Latte (AWESOME find! A little high in sugar but it is 100% natural - no sugar added - and since I'm trying to pack in extra carbs to gain back some weight these things ROCK) 12 oz I'll get an atkins shake in tonight with feedings and I'm working on a 12 oz glass of water.  After that shake I'm sitting at 1058 calories, 131g carbs (HOLY MONKEES!  Thankfully I'm trying to get more - my nutritionist told me to keep it below 120-140 normally, but since I need to pack on a few this is part of the plan), and 62g protien.  How about you?  Come on out and check in!

Amy that is fantastic! So glad to hear your home with you hubby. I had a really crazy day food and otherwise. so wont write about it here but will post about. I dont want to hijack your post

Welcome home!!!!!!! We'll not discuss what I ate today lol....but am definately working it off this weekend! Running around at my job is tough!  Plus, picking up two cows from a dairy for me to train!  I'm showing them in a month!!!  Yipppeee!!!!!

Amy! I am so glad to hear that you're home and gaining weight! Sounds like everything will be back to normal in no time! I was SO bad yesterday. I really eat anything :( I got busy and forgot. B: 3/4 of sb die protein bar S: a little over a 1/4 of a cup of soy nuts S: at 33o am when i got home..... 1 oz of baked pita .......... and thats it. I did manage to get in all my water though. Today will be better.
