Introductions

well i would like to start out by introducing myself my name is Jessica i'm 23 and about 4 day away from having my surgery...my friends are very supportive but there are still things they don't understand so its hard to talk to them about some things after reading a few posts here i feel inspired...this message board is going to be a blessing for me.

Welcome Jessica!  You must be soooo excited!  I am with you on the friends... they know its important, they're behind you 100% but still they don't completely understand. Good luck, hun!

Welcome Jessica! I am a newbie here too (only 4 days post-op) and I have found the encouragement here to be Amazing! Everyone is super supportive and positive. Best wishes! Mandy

I'm glad you're here.  I hope your friends come around, it is hard to explain because there is a lot of misinformation out there about weight loss surgery to unlearn - but I hope they get it.  But ya know you've got a lot of people here who are happy to listen and help when we can.  I pray your surgery goes smoothly and you have a complication free recovery!  Welcome to the 20's board!

My surgery is on the 28th so we will be joining the loser's circle together...and yes i am scared as hell its not just you being a big baby...i too hope your surgery is completly uneventful and boring too...good luck...see you on the other side!
