Roll Call and Eatin' Good in the Neighborhood (Wednesday)

Howdy 20's board! How has "hump day" been for you?  Are you getting your protien and water in?  The summer is still warm so it is all the more important to push liquids.  Did you know that fat leaves your body in urine?  Yeah, it does, so that means if you're not drinking (so you can pee) you are sabotaging your weight loss.  If that doesn't get you drinking I don't know what will. It has been a tough day on this side of the keyboard - I didn't get the results I wanted yesteday from some tests and I am bummed about that.  On top of that and feeling crummy I haven't seen my husband for a long time since I'm staying with my mom and sisters so they can take care of me (he works a lot and we live a good hour away from my mom's house so with the price of gas and no time it is hard to make the trip).  He was supposed to be able to come here on Thursday night and stay to take care of me through Sunday morning before driving back to work.  He was going to use personal time for his shift on Saturday and that would have been great except his manager told him that if he called in on Saturday (this was after he tried to switch with a few other employees but no one could) he would get written up.  That is a big deal where he works and he has a couple other write ups for two other assenine reasons so one more could mean his job.  So I was looking forward to having him here to help me out and just to see him but it doesn't look like that is going to happen.  If they don't work with him I am thinking of starting a boycott against the company he works for - so stay tuned and if this last ditch effort he's going through (talking to a higher-up manager) doesn't work I'll be pleading with you to boycott this stupid chain that treats employees like CRAPOLA, with peanuts for pay and highway robery for insurance.  My sister is moving this weekend so my family is going to be gone and unable to care for me so almost as much as I WANT him to be here I NEED him.  I have to have help feeding myself every 2 hours and getting around and all that jazz.  I mean it isn't rigirous care but I DO need help.  *sigh* it just bums me out. As for food....I have worked my way through an 11oz Atkins vanilla shake, 40 oz water, 20 oz pedialite, 3 oz honey chicken (YUM!) and I am planning on more honey chicken before bed.  That puts me at 596 calories, 50g carbs, and 55g protien.  Let me know how you're doing with food and what not - I'd love to hear from you!

Brunch (it was the first night I slept really well since surgery and slept till almost 12! I guess from having no good sleep the past 5 or so days): 6 oz of chicken broth

mid afternoon: protein supplement

Dinner: 3 tablespoons of pinto beans.
I got the nerve to try them, after my doctor put me on pureed diet yesterday. Ate those 20min ago, so far so good! I was nervous because yesterday I had a couple bites of sugarfree reduced fat pudding and I got the foamies! I think it was the milk though.

Snack: 2 more tablespoons of pinto beans

Trying to get as much water in throughout the day. Today is about the best I have done so far. I have gotten almost 40oz in.

**hugs**  I've missed you SO much!  Very glad to have the internet back...but I'm so outta the loop...gotta get caught up soon. But, I'm too busy making sure I don't get behind in my reading for nursing school (started on Monday)....*sigh* Today...not so good.....I woke up dry heaving.....so that's no good! B: water L: very small (about 1 oz) piece of chicken, 2 small apple slices S: more water D: 8 oz protein shake made with milk, vanilla powder and CIB S: more water.... Nothing else is going in me today....blech!! On a lighter note, I have ONE stinkin' pound until I'm in onederland!!!! YAY!!!

Hey Amy! Sorry that your hubbie can't come and see you this weekend. What a bummer :(  I bet he misses you lots.  Wednesday was ok. Could of been better towards the end! B: 3/4 of SB diet bar (15) S: 1 oz of beef jerky, 1/4 cup of soy nuts (26) L: 2 oz of steak and 3 bites of potato (15) D: Almost all of the meat from a McDonalds double cheesburger :( (21) No bread, 3 french fries. My step dad picked up dinner and thats what he got me! Thanks! ... Totals from FITDAY (yes i'm using it!! ) cals: 885 fat: 36 carbs: 62 protein: 77 Water: About 115 ounces. I love water! Gym: 10 minutes on eliptical, 20 minutes of leg weights. (i didn't have tons of time because i had plans later) I guess it was an ok day.

Wednesday was a bit better for me.... Breakfast Protein shake and a banana. Lunch I went out with my best friend Michelle and her son we had some errands to run pre school starting buying books and the lot.  So we stopped at subway and I had a 6 inch oven roasted chicken breast sandwhich and the 3 of us split a bag of baked BBQ lays.  Dinner I had half of a personal pizza at my favorite resturant Snack I had a protein shake. I got 75 oz of water in Wahooo!!

Hey guys, checking in late, but just glad to be able to check in at all...I hope things work out for you Amy, maybe they will be able to get to the bottom of this darn thing soon and you will be able to get back home with your husband where I'm sure you feel you belong.... Yesterday's eating - of course with moving things were crazy, no fit-day so I don't know the stats but here goes: 8:00 AM: 1.5 baked chicken tenders 3:00 PM: 3 oz of beef jerky 10:00 PM - A wendy's grilled chicken salad with italian dressing - ate all the chicken and about 1.4 of the salad 12:15 AM - I ate about 2/3 of the grilled chicken swiss and bacon from a Wendy's grilled chicken clubI I got in plenty of protein but probably only got in 600-800 calories, I will have to do better then that! I also drank tons yesterday, probably close to a gallon of fluids because it was so hot and I was working so much...

Hello Kids... Breakfast: Quaker Oatmeal pack and 1/2 toasted eng muffin with crunchy PB Lunch: grilled chicken breast diced up in a whole wheat pita pocket with RF shredded cheddar and lite sour cream... simply scrumptious! Snack: Nature Valley vanilla yogurt bar... needed a break from the SB... but they are only 2g protein compared to my SB 10g... so knix the NV! Dinner: Lean cuisine chicken alfredo...penne.. some crap.. it has grilled chicken, alfredo thingys that melt, carrots and broccoli.. I added more chicken pieces... Snack: 1/2 green apple with crunchy PB Then the night time demons got me after work... english muffin, toasted, then broiled with a slice of RF american cheese on each slice... Nummmy!
