Yesterday was a very wierd day because I'm packing up my apartment into a trailer, today will be even wierder because I need to finish up, clean this place out, drive 3.5 hours to Raleigh and unload everything. I bought a big back of Beef Jerky last night to keep around to help out with the fact that I don't have a microwave until tonight and no bowls, plates, silverware, etc.. Yesterdays totals: 1000 calories, 26 g of fat, 47 g of carbs, 140 g of protein - and probably 100 oz. of water - I was thirtsty with all the work I was doing loading my u-haul last night (it was 100 degrees here yesterday)  b: shaved turkey rolled up and wrapped with mozerrella string cheese (8 slices, and two cheese sticks) l: Chick-Fil-A Southwest Grilled Chicken Salad with Light Italian Dressing, and Tortilla Strips - I ate about 95% of it - I looked at their nut. info on the web and found out that the light italian is the only dressing they have that isn't high in sugar - and it didn't taste too bad. d: A double scoop of protein powder mixed with 16 oz of water, sf ff instant pudding powder (banana cream), and some insant coffee crystals s: 3 oz. of beef jerky - 45 g of protein!

Hey everyone!  I will take a quick shot at this... Yesterday seemed to be a good day for me.   16.9 oz bottle of water with rasberry lemonade Crystal Lite B/S- Yoplait Light Blueberry yogart and 2 oz cantaloupe (Vitamins)  16.9 oz bottle of water with rasberry lemonade Crystal Lite L- 2.5 oz of broiled flounder 16.9 oz bottle of water with Iced Tea Crystal Lite D- 2 oz sauteed shrimp 2 oz green beans 16.9 oz bottle of water with Iced Tea Crystal Lite S- 16 oz milk and 2 scoops of Jay Robbs Ultimate Protien in Strawberry  with vitamins (YUMMY and 66grams of protien)  Doesn't look like I ate much but I got in 99 grans of protien and 83 oz of liquids.  This was very good for me because I have struggled getting in all my protien and liquids.  Let's see if I can have a repeat.  I am on track so far... I am definatley interested in options.  Anyone recommend anything?

WOW!  You are doing STELLAR for someone so early out!  I am put to shame.  I did really poorly with protien and water early on and it seems like you've got it all together.  Keep it up!  I'd bet you're going to see the benefits of eating so well.  Congratulations on doing so well!

Amy,   I must say that this is the first day that I came close to my goals.  I am going to the MD on Friday and hope to get my G-Tube out.  It only will come out if I haven't lost muscle and water.  Thus, motivation to get the protien in.  Thanks for the kudos, time for me to go get my flounder.  Hope you are feeling better!! You have a G-tube?  I guess this is the second time I have heard about surgeons leaving a G-tube in after surgery.  I'll bet that helps get your fluid and protien through drinks.  I have a G-tube for the same purpose and yeah, if there were a snowball's chance in heck I could get it out any time soon i would do almost anything.  I hope you're enjoying your flounder and hopefully you'll be in good enough shape to get your tube removed Friday.  Keep up the good days like yesterday and I think you'll be fine.

Man yesterday. I was good until i got home from work. I went CRAZY with carbs it seems! I don't know what i was doing! Anyways here is the dirt.  B: SB Diet bar (15) S: 1oz beef jerky (15), 1/4 cup soy nuts (11) L: SB Diet wrap meal (1/4 of 1 tortilla, chicken, cheese and salsa) (25) S: 8oz of V8 V Fusion Juice S: 1 oz of Stacey's Baked Pita!! (3) D: 2.5 oz of this steak and like 1/4 cup of potatos! S: 3 oz of SF rice pudding! gah i just didn't stop eatting yesterday! Totals from FITDAY! ( Yes i used it!! ) I have to subtract some though because i eat all the chicken and cheese from my SB diet things and not the tortilla or the jello, so they say i am getting more carbs and calories then i am because i am getting all the protein i leave it as a serving. If that makes sense. Soo,  Cals: I'll say 900-1000 Fat: 27

Carbs:111!!!!  Man the fruit juice i drink alone has like 29! Then i had baked pita, rice and potatos! No more! ( i dont know what a normal about of carbs to eat is though, that just seems like a lot! ) Protein: 92 Water: 82 ounces And i didn't go to the gym because my mom didn't feel good and i have to go with her. Maybe that's why i sat around eatting. Oh well today will be better. Have a good wednesday! The week is HALF over!

Carbs are addicting!  You'll do better today since you're going to be paying attention.  My official guidelines from my nutritionist are "under 120" for carbs, but then again those rules were given to me when I got to the point where I didn't want  to lose much more weight so you'll probably want less than that.  You should talk to your nutritionist if you have one to get specific guidelines.  Fruit juice is a killer - but is it 100% fruit juice?  If so all the sugar you're getting is from the natural sugars in the fruit, and that makes it not nearly as bad.  Get off the carb wagon today - protien, protien and water! because carbs make you want more carbs so stop the cycle now.  You can do it!  Happy hump day!

Oh i know, me and carbs are on a break! The fruit juice is 100% juice. I usually don't like juice all that much but i am drinking this stuff because it has a full serving of fruits and vegetables in an 8 oz glass. I think it's a good idea because it's hard for me to eat any fruits and veggies as it is. This way i get in 2 servings easily and tasty at the same time!  Today will be better! Plus i won't be home all night, i will be off to the gym and then out with another guy i hang out with! Too many men, too little time! The guy from the date Sunday messaged me yesterday and we talked for like 2 hours. He called me beautiful! We were talking about Detroit and he was like "the only good thing to ever come out of Detroit is you." I was like...swwwwooooooonnn. Cute sweet boys are my weakness. We still don't have any plans though because med school is taking over his life. Who knows what will happen! He probably only wants sex anyways! : )

Oh my yes, swoon city.  He sounds like a good canidate for you.  I hope you guys make it to Detriot when his schedule opens up and he had better at least buy you an awesome dinner and take you dancing or something like that if he expects sex  because you are more than worth a good dinner and dancing.  I hope you have fun at the gym and then out - I am stuck in this house all day today and tomorrow and the next day and I'm just lucky my mom doesn't take the term "bed rest" more literally than that or I might find myself tied down to a bed with NOTHING to do.  It is weird staying at my mom's house since I am married now with my own place - but she still pretty much treats me like one of her cubs.  Gotta love moms.

You are a busy guy!  It's a good thing you're drinking so much. It was not a good day for me yesterady, I had some tests that didn't go as planned.  I'll post about it eventually.  As for food I got 1 11oz atkins shake, 40 oz water and 2 oz of a beef enchilada from Carlos O'Kelly's - that puts me at around 300 calories and 25 grams of protien.  Hopefully today is better.
