Going away for a while...

Today is the day. I'm starting my journey from exile in the Carolinas to make my triumphent return to the Valley of the Sun - Phoenix, Arizona....I will leave this afternoon and drive 3.5 hours to Raleigh, NC to my still-not-sold house up there where I will unload the bulk of the contents from my apartment down here in Columbia, SC.  I will stay there until Saturday morning, visiting with my mom who drove down from NY to see me and her grandkids one last time before we move back to the west coast, and hanging with my best friend and next door neighbor, Brandon. While I'm up there I will check-in from Brandon's house at leat once a day - that wlll be my taper down dose of OH before the painful days on the road to AZ. Satuday morning I will head out with just me and my dogs down I-40 headed to AZ, I will probably overnight somewhere between Memphis and Oklahoma City, probably in Arkansas. Sunday I should make it to somewhere between Amarillo, TX and Albequerque, NM, then on to Phoenix on Monday. 2200 miles one-way.  So since my laptop is in pieces, after Friday night, you won't here from me for a few days, but I will be back! Who knows, if the withdrawals get too bad, I may drag my desktop and monitor into the motel room and jump on!

BE SAFE!!!!! Drink lot's and lot's of water and make sure you wash your hands after going into a public bathroom!! Let us know when you get there!
